I KNOW! I'm appalled as well! I DID see a commercial about how it would 'force a girl to notify parents, even if they were abusive'... I wonder if that idea played into the voters' decisions at all. Plus, we have to remember all the people who voted but aren't necessarily parents, and are pro-choice. Man oh man.
Those adds were false. There was a provision to notify other family members and take the child out of an abusive home. The child should not have to stay in an abusive home.
